Downtown Boulder Lights of December Parade

This annual hometown event features a holiday parade that winds through downtown Boulder. The parade begins at 6pm at the end of 15the and Pearl. Announcing booths are available at 11th and Pearl as well as 14th and Walnut. Features include high school marching bands as well as floats representing area non-profit and civic organizations.

This event is recognizes as one of the largest 10K (6.2 mi) races in the United States, attracting an average of 50,000 participants annually. The race begins at 7am in front of the First National Bank of Colorado. Following the race, a 21-gun salute will be held in honor of Memorial Day.
